“ The service was genuine and you feel appreciated as a customer. The restaurant is situated in what is surely a century home and those who appreciate architecture will love just stepping in the front door. I did takeout. Items are cooked fresh to so don't be in a rush. The food was good but I was surprised at the $16 total for cashew stirfry, after adding a side of rice (at extra cost) which was of course really required to make it a meal - it really felt it should have been included instead of being a $2 add-on, and $14 total would have been a little more palatable for (an albeit quality) takeout lunch. ”

We've had Pad Thai from many places, but this place ranks up near the top. “ Please come and try the food at the Golden Rooster!! Everything is fresh and homemade. The soups are delectable. Salad portions are very large. I ordered The Golden Rooster salad, it has bacon, grilled chicken, cheese, peppers, cucumbers and a variety of other vegetables. It is delicious!! ”
“ Went in after the opening and enjoyed the curries on the menu, we have been back 4 times now. Not had the burger and fries so can't comment, we enjoy a good curry which the area lacks and is a good addition to the village. Staff are friendly and very helpful, management are seen in the background. This is an older building that they have upgraded inside and it looks good, ac struggles but is not uncomfortable. Our first visit, there was a lot of mosquitoes but this was caused by keeping the back patio door open. We complained and our next visit we put bug spray on. And found the door had been closed and there was only the odd one flying about. All in all a great place to have dinner. ”

It doesn't matter if you are looking for a place to catch the game and have a few drinks, going out for appetizers and cocktails with friends or coworkers, going out for a family dinner or even going out for a date night. They have great menu options with something for everyone!! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxed and hip, but most of all the staff is so fun and friendly!!! Definitely recommend to anyone! ”

“ Went there with my husband and mother. I wouldn't say it's set up like a normal restaurant. It's a house turned in to a restaurant. I like the set up though. I ordered the New York strip loin and it was seriously tastey... I find a lot of high end steaks houses dont spice their steak. This was amazing. And still had tons the next day. Mom had the chicken souvlaki. No complaints. Husband had the jambalaya and he loved it. Quick and friendly service. Can't complain.. I can usually find something ... not this time. Great prices too. Very reasonable. ”
